JCQ Summer 2021 Timetable Update
GCSE, GCE AS and A-level summer 2021 timetable
This is an update for Heads of Centre, Senior Leadership Teams, Heads of Department/Faculty and Exams Officers following the consultation on the June 2021 JCQ provisional common timetable. This ran from 16th – 30th October 2020.
Our thanks go to schools and colleges for their submissions and comments regarding the provisional timetable. These have been taken into careful consideration by JCQ and the awarding bodies.
The overwhelming majority of comments related to GCSE English Literature and Mathematics being timetabled on the same day. This has now been addressed.
Following feedback received, the first GCE AS and A-level Accounting and Geology examinations now no longer take place before half-term.
The GCSE, GCE AS and A-level June 2021 Common Timetable has now been agreed by AQA, Eduqas, OCR and Pearson.
The awarding bodies will now use the finalised JCQ Common Timetable to produce and publish their GCSE, GCE AS and A-level timetables.
