Today, the Joint Council for Qualifications published the results tables for the November 2023 series for GCSE English, Mathematics, Mathematics-Numeracy and Welsh Language. JCQ has produced additional important information to help users interpret the results tables.
Due to changing entry patterns and different assessment and grading arrangements over the last few years, it is not feasible to make meaningful comparisons between results this year and previous examination series.
A note on the data available on the JCQ website: A machine-readable file is available on the ’main results tab’, and other results tables including age and country breakdowns are available on the ‘other results information’ tab.
